Jury lists (1856-1873), kept by the City Clerk, reflecting names of potential jurors selected by the elected selectmen of specific wards in the City of Manchester, N.H., selection being carried out through a lottery type drawing, with the jurists periodically rotated off and replaced on the list; together with two blank and printed notification forms (20th century) sent by the ward clerk to citizens whose name had been drawn for jury duty for the Superior Court.
